New hires, re-hires, and internal hires will typically receive a starting salary between the posted minimum and the average pay of employees in their same classification. Offers will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and qualifications and will thoughtfully consider internal pay equity for agency staff who perform similar duties and have similar qualifications. The top half of the posted salary range is generally reserved for candidates who exceed the requirements and qualifications for the role. The maximum salary range is reserved for candidates that far exceed the required and preferred qualifications for the role.

Position Overview:
The Senior Risk and Compliance Data Analyst reports to the Grants Federal
Compliance Officer for the Department of Grant Compliance and Administration.
The Senior Risk and Compliance Data Analyst performs risk assessment and
compliance data analysis, data research, examination, and identification of
data patterns and trends to support compliance with federal requirements,
enforcement actions, subrecipient monitoring, and complaints. This work is
time sensitive and includes data analysis to track and inform on noncompliance
actions, corrective action plans, risk assessment activities, federal
subrecipient data awards, expenditure, findings, and audit trends. This
individual performs highly complex (senior level) data analysis and research
work. The Senior Risk and Compliance Data Analyst works under limited
supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent
judgment.

monitoring data, procedures, and systems
3. Develop Data Reports, Tools and Resources: develops and maintains risk
assessment, non-compliance activities, corrective actions, complaints, and
subrecipient monitoring data reports, tools, and resources
4. Ad-Hoc and Special Projects: creates ad-hoc and special projects as
assigned, including but not limited to, data projects related to public
information requests, complaints, risk assessment, corrective actions,
investigations, and other referrals
