$5,000 Sign-On Bonus - Digital Press Operator at SeaChange

Summary

The Digital Press Operator is responsible for operating and troubleshooting Digital Presses and finishing equipment to meet daily production and quality goals in a safe and efficient manner. This role will work with variable and static data printing, PHI, and secure mail.

Sign-On Bonus

$2,500 paid out following 60 days of service
$2,500 paid out following 6 months of service
Must be actively employed before the end of 2026.

***Must be in good standing and actively working at time of payout.

Shift Hours

This role is a 2nd shift position, working 2-10pm with a shift differential.

Essential Job Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

· Raster Image Process [RIP] static / variable PDF files and set up press runs per the job ticket using Digital Press Front End [DFE].

· Manipulate digital color calibration set-up to meet expectations for the color target.

· Review all proofs and final product samples produced on digital equipment before releasing to internal or external stakeholders.

· Perform standard quality checks and processes to ensure quality expectations are met.

· Conduct regular maintenance on equipment to achieve maximum machine performance in line with equipment specifications and acquired knowledge of machine operations.

· Place and record maintenance and service calls as required.

· Set up, operate, and maintain digital color and black only imaging equipment.

· Maintain and uphold a clean work area.

· Monitor supply levels and assist with consumable orders.

· Other duties as assigned.
