Position Summary:
AAA, United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Duluth, Minnesota that produces composite "fiberglass" parts such as Wings, Fuselages, Horizontals, and their accompanying parts for the Cirrus SR20, SR22 piston airplane, and the SF50 Vision Jet. We are looking for experienced Aircraft Interior Installers who are seeking their next opportunity in a complex and ever-changing work environment!
The Assembler Technician II is responsible for a variety of tasks that are pivotal to building a plane or jet. As a technician you will be learning to use a variety of hand tools and use of pneumatic fixtures to assemble parts.
Essential Functions:
- Proficient with Assembler Technician duties plus
- Manages Technician schedule and takt time pace
- Inspects, builds and installs aircraft components
- Follows engineering drawing and specifications
- Ensures part fit, clearance, alignment, and functional performance complies with design requirements
- Responsible for cleaning, set up and use of bonding, drilling, and holding fixtures
- Routes wires, cables and tubing
- Installs rivets, screws and bolts, using appropriate tools
- Torques hardware and fitting using various tools and test equipment
- Follows and properly documents aircraft build instructions
- Wears personal protective equipment as required including respirator
- Mixes and applies adhesives, resins, and sealants per instructions
- Maintains a clear and organized workstation to department standards
