Experienced Veterinary Technician

Highland Park Animal Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join one of Dallas’s most established and prestigious veterinary practices. With over 57 years of service in the Dallas community, we now operate in a state-of-the-art, three-story luxury hospital offering advanced medical care and exceptional client service.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Technician who is passionate about high-quality medicine, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is eager to grow within a progressive, full-service hospital.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Provide high-quality patient care for dogs and cats
- Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments
- Perform IV catheter placement and blood collectio
- Monitor and assist with anesthesia and surgical procedures
- Administer medications (IV, IM, SQ, oral)
- Educate clients on vaccines, preventative care, and treatment plans
- Support advanced services including radiology, ultrasonography, and lab diagnostics
- Maintain accurate medical records

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician (LVT/RVT/CVT preferred)
- Proficiency in IV catheter placement, venipuncture, and anesthesia monitoring
- Strong knowledge of vaccines and preventative care protocols
- Excellent communication and client education skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Passion for delivering exceptional patient care
