  • Presenting the news list to the Regional Editor

  • Calm under pressure and able to make decisions quickly
  • Competitive, driven and motivated to help a team succeed
  • Creative, full of ideas and digitally aware
  • Confident working across multiple platforms and formats

You’ll also have a strong understanding of media law and be comfortable dealing with members of the public.

You will:

  • Inspire and motivate a team
  • Embrace the chance to have fun in your job and with your colleagues
  • Drive a strong and engaging news agenda
  • Understand how audiences find and consume content
  • Know what makes a story - and how to tell it effectively across platforms

The deadline for applications is Friday, August 28. We will be reviewing applications as they come in, so early applications are encouraged.
