Position Summary:

AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Columbus, MS that is an international pioneer in the aerospace industry. They are a leader in designing, manufacturing and delivering aerospace products, services and solutions to customers on a global scale. A commercial aircraft manufacturer, with Space and Defense as well as Helicopters Divisions, they are the largest aeronautics and space company in Europe and a worldwide leader.

The Aircraft Avionics Technician A - NHC is responsible for performing installation, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of aircraft avionics systems in support of new aircraft completions and modifications.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform assembly, installation, repair or replacement of aircraft electrical/electronic components and systems in the manufacturing of aircraft.
  • Install electrical harness and sub-assemblies in aircraft by performing, but not limited to, the following activities: basic identification of wire and coax cable, clamping, bundling, mounting, routing, stripping, splicing's, soldering, termination.
  • Perform work from blueprints, sketches, vendor and service manuals, and other source data to obtain dimensions, locations, alignment, tolerances and other specification requirements.
  • Use a variety of standard and specialized hand tools, power equipment, measuring devices and test equipment in completing work assignments.
  • Conduct operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems.
