Sr. Solid Waste Equipment Operator
at Glendale Civic Center
Responsible for the safe, economical, efficient operation and care of heavy solid waste equipment, primarily a Front Loader (FL), used to collect, transport, and disposal of commercial solid waste trash and recyclables in the Solid Waste Management Division of Field Operations Department. This class may also operate other solid waste heavy and specialize equipment such as Automated Side Loader (ASL), Roll-Off (RO), Rear Loader (RL), Bulk Trash Case Tractor, Street Sweeper, and bin delivery equipment based on department need and/or on a regular basis. This position will be open until filled, applications will be reviewed and referred on a weekly basis.
