Under general supervision, the booking clerk will assist security staff with processing inmates for intake and release. This work is performed within a secure facility and involves direct contact with inmates. This position will interpret court orders and circulate to the appropriate department for action; explain basic rules and regulations; comprehend and interpret policies and procedures, rules and regulations.
