Your role at a glance
The Facilities Engineer coordinates and performs overall daily building and property maintenance in a geographic area with the assistance of staff and external vendors. This is a Monday through Friday position; however, needs to be flexible to provide coverage at night or weekends to assist if emergency condition exists. Regular attendance is essential for satisfactory performance.
What we are looking for
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various systems and components such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and other building-related tasks. Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and potential issues. Provide recommendations for repairs or improvements. Respond to maintenance requests. Regularly inspect and maintain building systems, equipment, and facilities, following preventive maintenance schedules and procedures. Set up and install new equipment, fixtures, furniture, or appliances as required. Ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety standards. Diagnose and resolve problems with electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, doors and windows, locks, and other building components. Repair or replace faulty parts or equipment as needed. Monitor and manage stock levels of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment. Coordinate with appropriate personnel to procure necessary items within budgetary constraints. Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while performing maintenance tasks. Identify potential safety hazards and take appropriate measures to mitigate risks. Knowledge, Skills and Attributes: Verbal and written communication skills Proactive and hands on Display client service orientation Ability to manage assigned job processes Ability to maintain attention to detail whilst working under pressure Required Experience: Demonstrated experience
Compensation Pay Range
This position requires work to be done onsite at a data center facility and
may require use of a personal mobile device. A monthly stipend will be
provided to cover expenses incurred for using a personal device, if
applicable.
NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based
on experience, education, and location. Hourly base salary for this position
is $29.09 - $41.54 and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance to local
state and federal ‘Wage and Hour’ requirements.
All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is
dependent upon individual and company performance.
