Job Title: Laboratory Coordinator 1
This is a Temporary Classified position limited to no more than 9-months
Job Summary:| This temporary position provides critical support required
for hands-on learning experiences to first- and second-year undergraduate
dental and international students. This role will serve to prepare the School
of Dental Medicine’s Simulation Clinic, DASH and Technique Lab the equipment,
materials, and supplies necessary to support all pre-clinical learning
activities. This position will also issue, replace, and collect materials and
instruments to/from students as needed using automated dispensary and
inventory control procedures.Key Responsibilities: · Prepare
materials and supplies for variable dental teaching activities in the labs.·
Work closely with faculty to ensure laboratory sessions run smoothly.·
Supervise students as they complete learning activities.· Ensure the
learning activities progress smoothly and efficiently· Supports full
time staff in ordering, cataloging, and organizing supplies for lab
activities· Special projects may include spreadsheet development and
completion and workflow improvements

Work Location:| Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is
in Aurora at the CU Anschutz campus.

Qualifications:| Minimum Qualifications: · Two (2)
years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to
this position. Substitution: A combination of related education and/or
relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to two
(2) yearsPreferred Qualifications: · Dental experience is
desired but not requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: ·
Strong work ethic· Desire to learn· Attention to detail·
Strong organizational skills· Ability to lift and move items up to
20lbs.
