We are actively seeking candidates currently located in Europe who are open
to relocating to Canada.
We are looking for a Safety Engineer for Advanced Vehicle systems to support the design, analysis, and validation of safety-critical automotive features. The role focuses on ensuring functional safety and system robustness for advanced vehicle subsystems (ADAS, E/E architecture, actuators, sensors).
Responsibilities :
- Conduct functional safety analyses (FMEA, STPA, SOTIF) for advanced vehicle systems.
- Support system design verification and validation activities to ensure safety compliance.
- Collaborate with software, electrical and vehicle subsystem teams to integrate safety requirements.
- Develop and maintain safety documentation: requirements, hazard analyses, verification evidence.

Identify and mitigate potential failure modes in advanced vehicle components.

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with functional safety in automotive systems (ISO 26262, ISO 21448).
- Familiarity with** ADAS or advanced vehicle subsystems. **
- Practical knowledge of FMEA, STPA, or SOTIF methods.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
