Strategic Pricing Analyst

Role Overview

This role supports the development of pricing analytics and models that enable informed decision‑making on customer deals, profitability, and risk. You will work closely with senior pricing professionals, gaining hands‑on experience in Excel‑based financial modeling, pricing strategy, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of charge‑out rates and pricing analyses with guidance from senior team members.

  • Assist in building and maintaining customer pricing models and rate cards.

  • Support customer portfolio profitability analysis and deal evaluation.

  • Contribute to the development and refinement of corporate pricing strategies.

  • Assist with pricing calculations and ensure correct application of rates within pricing models.

  • Collaborate with other pricing analysts and support ongoing process improvements.

  • Perform other related analytical and operational tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Engineering, or a directly related analytical field.

  • Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).

  • 1+ year of professional in areas such as pricing, finance, contracts, proposals, business analysis, operations, or database/reporting support.

  • Strong Excel expertise, including the ability to program, quality‑check (QC), and maintain complex Excel‑based models, as well as design and implement significant structural changes to existing models.

  • Solid understanding of pricing, budgeting, and forecasting concepts, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial outputs.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with large, multi‑component datasets

Preferred

  • Exposure to costing models and basic resourcing or capacity algorithms.

  • Familiarity with how pricing or financial systems integrate with other business systems.

  • Basic knowledge of the CRO, healthcare, or life sciences industry.

  • Experience supporting or contributing to pricing, commercial, or financial analysis teams.
