Performs difficult professional work supervising social workers in the Child Protective Services, Adult Protective Services, and Permanency Planning (adoption/foster care) units of the Department of Social Services, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the general direction of the Social Work Program Manager. Continuous supervision is exercised over Social Workers. The work hours for this position is from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM Monday through Friday. It will cover any after hours on-call through the next day to 8:00 AM.
