About Us
Sport Ortho Urgent Care is an outpatient practice that is part of a
comprehensive orthopedic model. We are committed to offering an innovative
experience to patients by having an integrated approach with a team of
providers, including Orthopedic Physician Assistants and Physical Therapists.

About the Role
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our providers and ensuring excellent patient care. This position offers the opportunity to be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team within our innovative orthopedic model.
Responsibilities
- Perform standard medical assistant duties in an orthopedic clinic setting
- Obtain precertification for outpatient testing as needed
- Process referrals and schedule follow-up appointments
- Answer telephones in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain well-stocked exam rooms
- Administer injections and assist with bracing, casting, and durable medical equipment
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (new grads welcome)
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (required)
- One year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- A team-oriented mindset with a commitment to patient-centered care
