About Us The Landfill Section operates the City’s construction and demolition landfill, industrial landfill, and composting site as well as maintains the current and past landfills following closure, per State and Federal regulations. These operations provide a means of disposal for public and City waste, primarily street sweepings, illegal dumping, neighborhood clean ups, construction debris, and grass clippings.
