The role

We are seeking an experienced and consultative Senior Recruiter to act as a trusted advisor to our business leaders. In this pivotal role, you will move beyond transactional hiring to develop comprehensive resourcing strategies aligned with our long-term business goals.

As a pure generalist, you will be energised by variety and happy to cover all areas within both the corporate and tech sides of ITV. You will manage the full end-to-end recruitment lifecycle with a focus on quality of hire, diversity, and market intelligence across an array of specialist positions. We are looking for a professional with strong stakeholder management expertise, a commitment to inclusive hiring practices, and the ability to represent our employer brand with excellence at every touchpoint.

Key responsibilities

End-to-End Resourcing & Delivery

  • Own and manage the full 360° resourcing lifecycle for assigned roles, from workforce planning through to offer and onboarding.
  • Deliver against agreed resourcing KPIs, ensuring a consistently high standard of efficiency, candidate experience, and quality of hire.
  • Design and execute targeted recruitment campaigns to attract both active and passive talent.
  • Partner closely with Recruitment Managers and HR Business Partners to provide line managers with a seamless, integrated resourcing service.

Sourcing & Talent Pipelining

  • Proactively source, engage, and assess candidates through direct search and networking, evaluating availability, technical capability, and cultural alignment.
  • Build and maintain managed talent pools of high-quality, pre-qualified candidates to support current and future workforce plans across all functions.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of both active and passive talent attraction initiatives.

Market Intelligence & Stakeholder Partnership

  • Develop strong commercial and organisational insight to operate as a trusted resourcing advisor to senior stakeholders.
  • Gather, interpret, and share market intelligence with the wider team, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of talent trends, competitor activity, and best practice.
  • Collaborate with the wider Resourcing & Development (R&D) team on ad hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the Recruitment Manager in the planning and delivery of internal and external recruitment events.

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)

  • Senior-level recruitment professional with a strong track record of delivering high-volume, complex hiring while owning and optimising the full end-to-end recruitment lifecycle.
  • Recognised expertise in multi-channel talent sourcing strategies and techniques to access hard-to-find talent.
  • Deep understanding of employment legislation and resourcing compliance, providing trusted guidance and ensuring robust, risk-managed hiring practices.
  • Proven ability to partner with and influence senior stakeholders across multiple business areas.
  • Experienced in managing complex stakeholder landscapes, building trusted relationships through active listening and a deep understanding of both business and candidate needs.

Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)

  • Highly organised with a strong governance mindset, ensuring robust administration and full compliance to deliver a smooth, professional, and auditable recruitment process.
  • Proven capability in designing and implementing effective selection frameworks, including role adverts, assessment exercises, and structured interview guides aligned to job criteria and organisational values, utilising competency-based, scenario-based, and motivational methodologies.
  • Operates beyond internal organisational boundaries, constructively challenging and influencing hiring managers to drive strategic, future-focused hiring decisions.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and resilient, with the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Methodical and delivery-focused, with a strong track record of achieving key targets under pressure and within tight timelines across multiple, concurrent requisitions.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of innovative sourcing methodologies, with a demonstrable ability to build and leverage professional networks to access high-quality, diverse talent.
  • Champions an exceptional candidate experience at every stage of the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering Diversity & Inclusion–focused attraction initiatives, embedding inclusive hiring practices throughout the resourcing process.
  • Employer branding/Canva experience would be a plus.
