Chubb Life: Head of Partnership Support & Digital Sales

The Head of Digital & Partnership Support is responsible for driving profitable growth across digital sales channels and partnership distribution, while simultaneously leading sales and marketing support operations that enable successful partnership channels and revenue growth. This combined role oversees digital partnership development, D2C channel performance, sales enablement tools, partner coordination, and team capability building. The role ensures effective execution of both the digital sales strategy and the operational support framework that underpins partnership channel success.

1. Digital Partnership Development

  • Identify, negotiate, and onboard strategic digital partners including banks, fintechs, telcos, and digital platforms

  • Lead joint business planning and partner performance reviews; drive improvement actions to meet commercial targets

  • Ensure compliant digital journeys within partner ecosystems in accordance with OIC regulations

  • Manage and strengthen long-term strategic relationships with digital partners

2. D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) Channel

  • Develop and grow the direct digital channel with best-in-class UX/UI optimised for traffic-to-sales conversion

  • Drive customer acquisition through SEO/SEM, paid media, CRM, and referral programmes

  • Monitor and optimise Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) to meet profitability targets

3. New Digital Journey Development

  • Work closely with related parties and partners to develop and deploy innovative and effective digital customer journeys

  • Champion simple, digital-friendly onboarding and customer-centric design principles

  • Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Operations teams to ensure seamless end-to-end digital experiences

4. Sales Support & Enablement

  • Develop and maintain sales support tools including sales kits, training materials, product FAQs, and presentation decks for sales teams and partners

  • Provide consultation and support to sales teams in presenting insurance products through partner channels

  • Track and analyse sales data; propose and implement improvement strategies based on insights

  • Coordinate with internal teams (Underwriting, Legal, Finance, IT) to ensure smooth sales operations

5. Marketing Support & Campaign Execution

  • Co-plan and execute joint marketing campaigns with partners and the Marketing department

  • Coordinate production of promotional materials, publicity content, and sales promotion activities

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities and adjust strategies to optimise outcomes

6. Strategy, Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Define multi-year digital sales strategy; lead annual planning and budgeting for the digital and partnership support functions

  • Define and monitor KPIs for digital channel, partnership performance, sales support, and marketing support functions

  • Prepare and present performance reports to C-suite and management with market intelligence and strategic recommendations

  • Analyse insights to support strategic decision-making across partnership and digital channels

7. Product & Proposition

  • Work closely with the Product development function to develop attractive digital-first products suited for target segments

  • Supervise documentation, contracts, and operational tasks associated with joint sales with partners

8. Team Leadership & Cross-functional Coordination

  • Lead and manage a team of 3 direct reports across digital and partnership support functions

  • Build team capabilities through coaching, training, and structured development plans

  • Establish collaborative systems between the partnership development team and the sales team

  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with Actuarial, Operations, Technology, Legal, and Finance

Represent the function externally at relevant industry events and regulatory forums

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in digital sales, business development, partnership management, or sales operations within insurance or financial services

  • Proven track record in digital channel development, sales support operations, and managing partnership-based distribution models

  • Hands-on experience in the Thai insurance market with familiarity with local regulatory requirements (OIC, PDPA)

  • Experience managing cross-functional teams

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

  • Ability to develop and implement digital partnership and sales support strategies aligned with organisational goals

  • Expertise in building, managing, and nurturing strategic alliances with digital partners (e.g., fintech, banks, e-commerce platforms)

  • Deep understanding of digital sales channels economic, product-channel mapping, customer-centric journey, conversion funnel management and other key performance drivers

  • Experience developing sales enablement materials and supporting partner-based sales channels

  • Strong analytical skills; proficiency in data analytics, CRM systems, and sales/marketing performance metrics

  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence at all levels internally and externally

  • Commitment to enhancing customer experience through digital solutions and data-driven engagement initiatives

  • Knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements in Thailand; ability to ensure all activities adhere to legal and ethical standards

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • Ability to foster a collaborative, agile, and high-performance team culture
