Credit Controller (Fixed - term 12 months)

**Position Overview **

The Credit Controller is responsible for delivery of world class administration for our accounts receivable function ensuring that CIBT has a robust, effective, efficient, and supportive customer focused team that delivers world class results with a first-time right culture. The team will have both internal and external customers.

This role leads the delivery of applying cash for global operations through the Shared Service Centre (CIBTvisas Serbia) for most of our largest businesses across the globe. As a key member of the accounts receivable team, this role provides effective and efficient cash allocation and portal uploads, fostering a high performing culture through continuous improvement whilst delivering KPI/SLA's. To be fully successful in this position, this person will be professional in their approach and have confidence when communicating with people, experience with all areas of credit control.

**Duties and Responsibilities **

  • Successful in cash allocation in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Responsible for cash allocation and updating accounts receivable aging reports.
  • Continually analyse current processes to identify and implement ways to improve processes and financial control, either in the ERP system or manually.
  • Ensure all clients/customers are dealt with in a professional manner and are responded to in a timely manner, forging a business relationship.
  • Working closely with accounts receivable colleagues to ensure the team is working collaboratively.
  • Take responsibility and ownership for their cash allocation, updates to the company's financial records.
  • Working constantly with the business delivery teams to understand root causes of problems and devise effective solutions and outcomes which enhance the overall business.
  • Ensure the SOP and policies up to date, with annual reviews.
  • Foster an environment where Accounts Receivable team works within their own team but with the global team within the countries where required.
  • Ensure objectives, deadlines and targets are met.

**Education and Qualifications **

  • Graduate level degree or equivalent
  • Experience in Account Receivable is plus
  • Fluency in written and spoken English language
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain financial processes in a clear, simple manner to a broad base of recipients.
  • Computer literate with excellent writing and email skills
  • Results oriented and operates with a strong level of accountability, confidentiality, precision and have first-time right nature
  • Excellent organizational, time management and planning skills required
  • High standard of accuracy and precision in a time sensitive manner.
  • Ability to handle high volume while maintaining high level productivity
  • Ability to problem solve, analyze information and provide solutions
  • Ability to organise and prioritise tasks under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently as well as be a strong team member, working collectively towards organizational goals and objectives.
  • Able to work with people at different levels within the organization, adjusting the output and language used depending on the audience.
