Role Overview:
The Specialist within the CD&AO Data Acquisition and Enablement team will be
responsible for supporting data ingestion planning across various therapeutic
areas (oncology, vaccines, chronic care, etc) and across the internal teams
within data domains. The incumbent will work on ingestion activities related
to the bringing in of new data assets and will report into the Data
Acquisition Enablement Leader. This role will provide support in all areas of
the data ingestion lifecycle – from idea to implementation – and will be
accountable for ensuring key milestones, objectives, and timelines are thought
out, communicated, and met.
Key responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:
•Supports all major platforms and markets and responsible for Data Enablement
Plan.
•Work closely with Data Enablement Lead, Data Strategy & Governance,
Engineering Team, and Data Domain Owners, as well as other stakeholders to
ensure the enablement plan is defined, managed, and communicated.
•Working in the data launch playbook, ensure each key objective is met and all
documentation, requirements, etc. are properly captured, stored, and shared.
•To understand the Data Platform landscape and offer guidance and expertise on
ingestion processes for those platforms.
•Create and maintain Data Product in Discovery.
•Ensure a proper hand-off of information once the project has completed.
The Specialist is expected to help facilitate communication between multiple
business areas and project leads. Strong communication skills are required for
frequent engagement with DHH partners, CD&AO team, business application
owners, and outside vendors. This position is also responsible for leading the
development of and maintaining business related documentation such as Standard
Operating Procedures (SOPs), business cases, and project status logs/updates.
Qualifications:
Education: Required – BA/BS in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, IT
or other related fields.
Required experience:
•Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical data, commercial operations,
IT operations, or sales and marketing support area.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, team environment
•Possess good organization capabilities and exceptional communication skills
•Flexible to change in process timing and deliverables
•Technical working knowledge related to database application development
(developer or business owner)
•Proficient in SQL, experience with relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server,
Oracle, Redshift or Databricks), solid analytical skills.
Preferred experience:
•Experience with data lake and/or Data Management
•Experience with Agile Methodology
•Vendor management experience
•Experience with PowerBI
