Coordinate with the owners of commercial or industrial and residential buildings or related structures to ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations and ordinances. Work with the general public, developers, contractors and attorneys to resolve issues related to code compliance. Investigate, prepare and present cases to City Council, as well as act as a non-attorney prosecutor in a court of competent jurisdiction.
