Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret surveys and engineering reports (geotechnical, environmental, wetlands, traffic, etc.) for use in site design.
- AutoCAD usage to prepare concept site plans and site plan sets (erosion control, demolition, site layout, grading, storm drainage, utilities, landscaping, lighting, and details).
- Stormwater design and permitting in multiple states.
- Zoning code reviews.
- Municipal and agency permitting and attendance at meetings.
- Coordination with utility companies and review of design.
- Some travel for meetings, site observations, etc.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Minimum Qualifications
- BS or pre-professional degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited school.
- Experience with technical software, including AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Preferred Qualifications
- EIT with the intention of becoming a PE.
- 1+ year of experience with site design.
- Experience with technical software, including AutoCAD Civil 3D, truck-turning, Hydrology, etc.
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, OneNote, Google Earth, etc.
