This is a non-merit, temporary position. Candidates must follow the instructions in the "To Apply" section. Positions in this class are exempt from the screening and referral requirements of the Iowa Department of Administrative Services - Human Resources Enterprise. This position starts at $13.02 per hour. If you are interested in entering the health care field, this is a great position to start in. The Iowa Veterans Home is looking for temporary Resident Aides to assist on the unit. Hours are typically 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. working 30 hours in a pay period and every other weekend.
