Neurologist-Interpreting Physician (Remote-Texas Resident)

OrthoLoneStar is seeking a board-certified Neurologist with expertise in neurophysiology to join our remote neuromonitoring team. As an integral part of our organization, you will provide real-time interpretation of intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) studies to help optimize patient care across the State of Texas.
Responsibilities
The Neurologist - Interpreting Physician is responsible for real-time analysis of electrophysiological data generated during surgical procedures. You will collaborate closely with surgical teams and IONM technologists to support positive patient outcomes.
Provide real-time interpretation of intraoperative neuromonitoring data and communicate findings directly to surgical teams

Correlate electrophysiological findings with the patient's clinical status to support surgical decision-making

Conduct comprehensive post-operative case reviews and complete detailed reports

Contribute to quality assurance and improvement efforts to maintain high standards of neuromonitoring services

Maintain current knowledge of advancements and best practices in neuromonitoring
Qualifications

Board-certified Neurologist with expertise in electrophysiology

Fellowship in intraoperative neuromonitoring required; a doctorate in the field is preferred

Strong understanding of intraoperative neuromonitoring modalities (e.g., SSEPs, MEPs, BAERs, EMG)

Knowledge of surgical procedures and perioperative care

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Prior experience in IONM is strongly preferred
