Who we are looking to hire:

We’re seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join our Ad Solutions team. In this role, you’ll bring your technical expertise in both front-end and back-end development, along with a solid foundation in database optimization, to enhance our customer Portal. You’ll work hands-on to design, implement, and optimize full-stack solutions that are fast, scalable, and easy to use, creating a seamless reporting experience for our users. Collaborating closely with Product Managers, analysts, and other engineers, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring our applications meet both business and customer needs with precision and performance.

What you will Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
• Build responsive, intuitive user interfaces using frameworks like React, Angular etc.
• Develop and optimize back-end services, RESTful APIs, and microservices using Node.js, Python, Java or Go.
• Design, implement, and optimize database schemas for performance and scalability in relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, as well as NoSQL alternatives.
• Lead efforts to optimize database performance, including query tuning, indexing strategies, and schema design for high-traffic systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, design, and DevOps) to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices for code reviews, testing, and version control.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing knowledge on best practices for full-stack development and database optimization.
• Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, testing, and deployment process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, focusing on system performance, stability, and scalability.
• Participate in the entire Agile development lifecycle, including sprint planning, stand-ups.

What you bring to the table:

Essentials:

• 4-6 years of experience as a full-stack developer, with strong expertise in front-end and back-end technologies.
• Backend: Go/Java/NodeJs/Python, GCP stack (or similar)
• Front-End: React/Angular/Vue, Typescript (will be a plus)
• Databases: Postgres/MySQL; DB Query Optimization, Performance Tuning
• Experience with cloud based environments, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Familiar with: APIs - gRPC, Rest, GraphQL
• Bonus: Observability, Messaging (pub/sub and/or kafka)
• Familiar with: Agile & SCRUM ceremonies
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Soft Skills: System design Ownership, Mentoring mid-level/junior engineers, Stakeholder communication

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of serverless technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda, GCP Functions).
• AI/ML: Exposure to code completion tools (Copilot, Cursor) and experience integrating generative AI into development workflows
• Experience in working within Agile development environments.
• Experience in AdTech. Knowledge about Ad networks, ad exchanges, programmatic advertising, DMPs, DSPs, Audiences, etc.
