K-12 School District Consultant - Finance
at ACS Technologies
RevTrak, a Vanco company, is seeking a District Financial Solution Architect to serve as a senior, consultative partner to large K–12 school districts. This role works directly with district finance leaders—often at the CFO or Finance Director level—to assess financial operations, payment processes, and system integrations, and to help districts understand cost, risk, and operational complexity across their schools.
Districts face increasing pressure to demonstrate fiscal responsibility, reduce risk, and modernize fragmented systems. This role plays a pivotal part in helping finance leaders gain clarity and confidence by translating complex financial and technical realities into clear, data-backed insights that support district decision-making and board-level conversations. The focus is on trusted advisory engagement, analytical rigor, and executive-level communication.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead structured, on-site financial and operational assessments with large school districts (typically 1–2 days)
· Partner with district CFOs and finance teams to analyze payment processes, fund flows, and system integrations
· Identify cost drivers, inefficiencies, compliance risks, and governance challenges across district financial operations
· Quantify financial, operational, and risk impacts in a clear, executive- ready format
· Develop concise findings summaries aligned to district priorities and board- level decision making
· Collaborate with internal customer success and account teams to ensure insights are accurately translated into next steps
· Participate in executive-level discussions as a financial and systems expert
· Contribute insights from the field to internal training, best practices, and solution design
· Conduct remote advisory engagements when travel is not required
