We're looking for a Surveyor (PLS) to join the HMB team in Nashville, TN!

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage surveying projects, including roadways, bridges, utilities and related infrastructure.
- Supervise a team of surveyors, ensuring quality control and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate and collaborate with engineers, clients, and other stakeholders to meet project goals.
- Review and interpret survey data for design and construction purposes.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
- Manage project documentation, including survey reports, drawings, and permits.
- Conduct fieldwork when necessary, providing technical oversight and guidance.
- Ensure the safety of all team members and compliance with safety regulations in the field.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 8+ years of experience in land surveying, with a focus on transportation projects.
- Tennessee Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required.
- Proficiency with surveying equipment and software, including MicroStation, ORD, and Civil 3D.
- Strong understanding of transportation design and survey requirements.
- Excellent project management and team leadership skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
