The team..
The Resourcing & Development (R&D) Team sits at the heart of our People function, shaping how we nurture, engage, and inspire talent across the organisation. Working within the specialist Performance & Engagement arm, we are a collaborative, agile, and forward-thinking team dedicated to building a culture of continuous development and open feedback. We value clarity, creative problem-solving, and seamless operational delivery to ensure every ITV colleague has the support they need to succeed.
The role..
We’re looking for a People Development Coordinator - Performance & Engagement to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis. In this role, you will sit at the core of our performance management and engagement operations.
Your primary purpose will be ensuring everything runs smoothly and effectively across our systems, logistics, query management, and internal campaigns. Working closely with the wider team, you will provide critical operational, technical, and logistical support across key lifecycle activities, engagement survey rollouts, and broader R&D projects.
Some of your key day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the smooth running of ITV's performance management process, providing hands-on system support, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining colleague support materials.
- Supporting colleague engagement surveys from system setup through to rollout, preparing reports, and supporting our internal Ambassador network.
- Responding to employee and stakeholder queries in a timely, helpful, and professional manner.
- Organising logistics for in-person and virtual R&D events and activities, including room bookings, AV setup, calendar invites, and on-the-day support.
- Maintaining and updating performance and engagement content across MyITV (our intranet).
- Assisting with presentation creation (Google Slides) and preparing participation status reports for senior stakeholders.
- Managing internal and external correspondence, raising and tracking Purchase Orders (POs), and building strong business relationships.
- Flexing across the broader Resourcing & Development and HR teams to support ad-hoc projects and activities as required.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- Previous experience working within an HR, Talent, or Learning & Development environment.
- Experience handling large datasets and working directly with engagement survey platforms and/or performance management systems.
- Proficient in Google Suite applications (Calendar, Gmail, Slides, Docs, Sheets) or equivalent software.
- Strong organisational skills with a methodical approach, exceptional attention to detail, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently, use your initiative to solve everyday operational problems, and handle sensitive or confidential information with care.
Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)
- Ability to plan and organise your workload proactively across multiple projects while effectively managing stakeholder expectations.
- Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across teams, departments, and at various organisational levels.
- Flexibility and adaptability when dealing with change, combined with a drive to explore new digital ways of working to enhance process efficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong commitment to accuracy and thorough understanding in all aspects of your work.
Please note, on occasion we may receive a very large volume of applications which means applications for a role may close earlier than the referenced closing date. We’d encourage you to apply as soon as possible if interested.
