Professional Civil Engineer

Artheon is seeking a skilled and motivated Professional Civil Engineer to join our team in Neptune, NJ. Responsibilities
Design and Drafting:
- Lead project design from concept through completion
- Develop civil engineering designs, including site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D)
Permitting and Compliance:
- Prepare and submit permit applications to local, state, and federal agencies, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards
- Review planning and zoning board applications
Project Collaboration:
- Work closely with project managers, surveyors, and other engineering disciplines to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs
- Attend project meetings and municipal board meetings
Technical Reports:
- Create engineering reports, feasibility studies, and calculations to support project design and decision-making
Qualifications
Experience:
- 4–8 years of experience in civil engineering design, preferably in municipal capital improvement projects
Technical Proficiency:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software; knowledge of stormwater management software is a plus
Licensing:
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus or a willingness to obtain it
Skills:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location.
