For IMA Spa’s Central Mechanical Production Workshop , as part of the TECH CAMP 2026 Project—which is aimed at training junior candidates—we are seeking MACHINE TOOL OPERATORS.

Work location: Ozzano dell’Emilia (BO)

JOB SUMMARY

• Set up machines in the workshop;
• Oversee the production of custom-designed mechanical parts, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and delivery deadlines.
• Operate CNC and/or traditional machine tools such as: lathes, milling machines, multi-pallet machines, EDM machines, grinders, broaching machines, slotting machines, etc.
• Perform finishing work by manually working on the part to complete it and remove burrs while the machine is in operation.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• Technical Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics;
• IFTS post-diploma qualification in mechanical engineering;
• General knowledge of mechanics and the main machining processes;
• Good manual dexterity;
• Willingness to work day shifts.

WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU A GREAT FIT

• Minimal prior experience in mechanical machining/the use of machine tools;
• Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail and precision;
• Good interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a willingness to work as part of a team.

The starting gross annual salary will be € 33.000, under the National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalmeccanica Industria, with the possibility of increase based on the candidate’s experience and skills, in accordance with objective and gender-neutral criteria.
