Project Manager III

Evaluate the requirements of the scope of work, analyze resources, and develop and maintain project schedules for projects.
Essential Functions:
- Work closely with internal (and/or external) teams to understand the scope of work, goals, deliverables, and timeline to ensure project success.
- Examine resource requirements and availability needed for project.
- Create project plans, timelines, and milestone
achievements. - Ensures adherence to project plans and timelines to be met by internal and external resources.
- Measure and monitor project performance.
- Create and review project status reports.
- Coordinate the efforts of the project team through detailed planning efforts.
- Initiates corrective actions as necessary as they relate to the project.
- Ensure appropriate visibility and communication of the project.
- Collect post-project feedback to look for issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure that all project documents are complete and stored appropriately.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow established safety and ergonomic standards.
- May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.
- Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the division's quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.
- Contributes to projects and teams in an above average manner.
- Liaises between project members, cross functional teams, external vendors and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, schedule, requirements, cost and meeting plans are communicated.
- Utilizes appropriate tools to plan project timelines, tasks, milestones and deadlines.
- Plans meetings to align the project team to methods and goals and to track tasks.
- Manages complex projects from planning through delivery.
- Understand and perform risk assessment throughout the project life cycle.
- Has knowledge of the business side and contributes to strategic decisions.
- Serve as the division expert on project management best practices, tools, and methodologies.
- Displays outstanding contribution and impact.
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field. 5-7 years related experience, or experience in lieu of education.
