*About This Role*

We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for:

A Principal QualityNDT Tech works with a team of radiographers, performs calibrations, nondestructive tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and recording results. The selected individual will interpret welds requirements from various processes according with but not limited to Military Standard 2035, AWS Specifications, and ASME Section IV.

*Responsibilities:*

• Able to perform the duties as site Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) if required.

• Set up and utilize radiographic testing equipment.

• Actively participate in Radiation safety Programs.

• Ensure the work or radiation area is controlled.

• Calibrate radiographic testing equipment as required.

• Conduct radiographic tests to ensure quality or detection of discontinuities.

• Establish techniques for proper examination of welds under inspection while ensuring strict adherence to safety rules and regulations.

• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.

• Interpret radiographs.

• Organize and report test results.

• Complete, maintain and/or submit daily radiation reports for management review, as required.

• Perform specialized inspections as required.

• Must train and/or provide direction to current, new or lower level employees including leading a group, as required.

• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management.
