• The SYCEP is a six-week paid opportunity for youth in Prince George’s County, ages 16–24
• This program helps you explore career options, build confidence, and gain real-world experience
• You’ll spend time working with a host employer while also participating in hands-on workshops and training that prepare you for the workplace

Program Details

• Program Dates - Monday, June 29 - Friday, August 7, 2026
• Hourly Rate - $18/hour
• Schedule - Interns will work 20 hours per week during the program -16 hours with a host employer and 4 hours of professional development
• Training - All interns must participate in mandatory orientation and professional development sessions

Eligibility Requirements

• Be a resident of Prince George's County, MD
• Be between the ages of 16-24
