*Job Summary*

ACT is seeking a Field Sales Engineer focused on developing and maintaining mutually beneficial business relationships with all customers. The position will provide technical guidance and conceptualization in supporting new sales opportunities of ACT products and services..

Qualifications:

  • Associate 's degree with Bachelor's degree preferred (technical degree strongly preferred (BSEE)) or a combination of equivalent education and experience
  • 5+ years' selling to major military defense contractors and subcontractors preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to sell technical capabilities as well as technical hardware solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to arrange customer meetings with new and existing customers
  • Working knowledge of the design and manufacture of electronic/electro-mechanical components and power supplies and of the general system applications
  • Strategic thinker and planner with a demonstrated ability to keep the 'big picture' in mind while working in depth to great detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter who functions effectively with limited direct supervision
  • Comprehensive computer experience to include proficiency with CRM and ERP systems and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Project)
