About the Role:
Lithionics is looking for a highly motivated Customer Success Specialist to serve as a key contributor on our customer experience and commercial team. This role blends technical acumen, sales development, and customer engagement --positioning you at the front lines of how we serve and grow our OEM, integrator, and distribution partners.

This role is ideal for early-career engineers, technically proficient sales professionals, or those with experience in electrical systems looking to grow into a future Account Manager, Sales Engineer, or Business Development Manager role.

Key Responsibilities

** Customer & Partner Support**

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for inbound customer inquiries related to technical products, pricing, and solution fit
  • Build trust and rapport with OEMs, integrators, and distributors by providing clear, knowledgeable, and timely support
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Production, and Operations to ensure clear translation of customer requirements

** Sales Enablement**

  • Support Outside Sales, Account Managers, and Business Development in technical sales efforts
  • Assist with creating proposals, product configurations, pricing packages, and documentation for quoting and RFP responses
  • Identify opportunities for upsell and system expansion within existing accounts

** Technical Engagement**

  • Provide first-line technical guidance on lithium battery systems, inverters, alternators, and related components
  • Develop working knowledge of system architectures (DC distribution, charging, inverting, battery management)
  • Work cross-functionally to relay technical requirements and application feedback to engineering and product teams

** Project & Order Coordination**

  • Manage customer orders through fulfillment lifecycle--tracking key deliverables, communicating timelines, and supporting scheduling
  • Proactively manage exceptions and problem-solve issues related to delivery, configuration, or installation

** Continuous Improvement & Career Path**

  • Document customer feedback to improve workflows, product messaging, and technical documentation
  • Participate in internal training programs designed to prepare you for future commercial leadership roles in Account Management, Technical Sales, or Applications Engineering
  • Contribute to knowledge base development and process improvement for a growing commercial team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Sales, Business, or related field
  • 2-5years experience in technical customer-facing roles (inside sales, sales engineering, field service, applications, etc.)
  • Demonstrated aptitude in batteries, power electronics, or renewable energy technologies preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (NetSuite preferred) and ticketing tools (Freshdesk or equivalent)
  • Able to interpret schematics, technical drawings, or product manuals is a plus

Career Path & Growth

This role is designed as a stepping stone to future positions such as:

  • Sales Engineer
  • Account Manager
  • Business Development Manager
  • Applications Engineer

You'll be supported by leadership through training, mentorship, and exposure to high-value customer projects.
