**JOB DESCRIPTION:
**
Serves at the primary technical lead in the field for steam turbine projects. This role is responsible for execution during outages, troubleshooting, and direct customer interaction to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within scope.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as the on-site technical lead during steam turbine outages, inspections, and repairs
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers in the field, providing updates, resolving issues, and maintaining relationships
- Manage troubleshooting and root cause analysis on turbine-related issues
- Coordinate closely with Field Service crews, Project Managers, and Operations to ensure proper execution of work
- Review scope, support planning efforts, and ensure fieldwork aligns with contract requirements
- Recognize and communicate scope changes, risks, and adAditional work opportunities (EWOs)
- Prepare and submit clear, detailed technical reports and job documentation
- Drive safety, quality, and efficiency on all assigned projects
- Champion continuous improvement by distinguishing process gaps and field execution issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in steam turbine field services (outages, inspections, repairs)
- Strong working knowledge of steam turbine components, maintenance practices, and outage execution
- Proven ability to lead in the field and work directly with customers
- Ability to troubleshoot under pressure and make decisions in real-time
- Prior experience coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams (ops, engineering, sales)
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University Engineering, preferable mechanical or power engineering.
- Relevant field experience may be considered in place of a degree
WORK CONDITIONS:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced growth environment
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule in order to meet demands of the role
- Up to 40% travel which may include overnight travel
- While performing the duties of this job is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
