Overview
Location: East of Pittsburgh, PA
Job Type: Full Time/Permanent

The A.C.Coy Company has an immediate need for multiple Field Service Technicians for a full time role. This role will require traveling to client sites to support installation, maintenance, and repairs.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret schematic drawings
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
- Willing to work overtime (including weekends) as needed
- Required to travel to perform field service assignments as directed by management
- Create and maintain field service reports and documentation
- Maintain service equipment, general housekeeping and warehouse activities including loading and offloading of material, cleaning work areas, and keeping field service equipment organized
- Maintain communication with customers, employees, and management.
Qualifications
Education: 2 year associate or a specialized degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Electrical/Mechanical Technology or 3 years' related experience working in substations or a switchgear manufacturing facility.
- 3 years' experience working in substations or a switchgear manufacturing facility
- Experience supporting, installing, commissioning, performing maintenance and repairs of MV and HV Switchgears
- Ability to read and interpret AC and DC schematic drawings
- Experience in wiring, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical
- Experience using cranes and forklifts
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to use common hand tools
- Basic computer skills, Microsoft office products
- Ability to obtain a passport and be willing to travel out of country on rare occasions
- Be able to pass a random drug and alcohol test
- Willing to travel 30%
