Production Assistant

Position Overview

The Production Assistant, Video Production for the Las Vegas Raiders will work alongside a team of video professionals in Las Vegas responsible for ENG and various forms of programming, around topical and relevant storylines to help balance the portfolio of video content offerings for the Raiders across its media platforms (e.g. broadcast, website, social, in-stadium, etc.). The ideal candidate for this position will be self-directed and demonstrate initiative. The Production Assistant will report directly to the Sr. Manager of Video Production.

Essential Job Functions

• Collaborate with producers and other video production positions to ensure all duties and goals are being executed properly and on-time
• Serve as a production assistant/second shooter on feature production shoots
• Editing stories and string-outs of interviews. Edit packages from community events, practice, locker room footage, and more
• Edit packages from practice, locker room footage, Raiderettes, Corporate Sponsorship, Community Events, etc.
• Prepare research briefs and acquisition of archival materials
• Support day to day needs of Silver and Black Productions
• Execute time-sensitive decisions
• All other duties as assigned

** Qualifications:**

• Proficient with Adobe Cloud, specifically Premiere Pro
• Familiar with various methods of file sharing
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to use good judgment and present a professional image
• Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
• General understanding of NFL rules, teams, players and culture. Availability and willingness to work extended hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Learn and become fluent in Raiders history
• Ability to work extended hours and flexible schedule including nights and weekends as needed

** Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to):**

• Sitting for long periods of time throughout shift
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 25lbs
• Occasional walking, standing, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
