at Pollack Financial Group

About the Role

At Equitable, we help clients secure their financial well-being so they can pursue long and fulfilling lives - a mission we’ve honed since 1859.

The Transition Manager plays a critical role in supporting the successful transition of a financial advisor into Equitable Advisors, which includes collaborating closely with the Business Transfer team and other stakeholders. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining positive relationships with clients and advisors.

What You’ll Be Doing

**Advisor Support & Transition Strategy: **

  • Serve as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for advisors during their transition
  • Build a trusting partnership with advisors, developing tailored strategies to transition their book of business based on individual goals
  • Provide repapering support to assist new advisors in transferring their book of business to Equitable Advisors.

Project Coordination & Management:

  • Coordinate and prioritize project tasks, managing timelines, and communicating progress to managers and experienced advisors.
  • Maintain and oversee onboarding project plan trackers, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
  • Manage the end-to-end transition process for experienced advisor transitions, including product mapping, asset transition planning, and account transfers.

**Training & Support: **

  • Train and support local branch staff to serve as effective on-site transition partners.
  • Provide training to experienced advisors and their teams on Clientworks and initiate account pre-population processes.
  • Offer in-person support during the initial phase of the advisor’s transition, including travel as needed.

**Account Management & Reporting: **

  • Partner with the Business Transfer team to map advisors’ books of business and ensure accurate client data collection.
  • Maintain accurate reporting of accounts and assets transferred versus anticipated transfers.
  • Set transition timeline expectations and manage timelines accordingly.

This position offers a flexible work schedule: it may be fully remote/hybrid. If you are located near one of our offices (e.g., Charlotte, NC; New York, NY; Syracuse, NY), a hybrid schedule with 2–3 days on-site per week is expected to foster collaboration and connection.

The base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

For eligible employees, Equitable provides a full range of benefits. This includes medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off. For detailed descriptions of these benefits, please reference the link below.
