🔎 About the Role

As an NCG Specialist, you will play a key role within the Network Control Group, helping to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of DHL's European and intercontinental flight network. Working in a fast-paced operational environment, you'll support aircraft load control activities, optimise aircraft capacity and fuel usage, and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver industry-leading service and on-time performance

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Monitor aircraft load control activities to ensure safe and efficient flight operations.
  • Oversee ULD (Unit Load Device) build-up and loading against aircraft allocation plans.
  • Support fuel optimisation and monitor operational performance across the network.
  • Identify and escalate operational risks, disruptions, or issues as required.
  • Review flight performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure operational data, timestamps, and delay codes are recorded accurately and submitted on time.
  • Coordinate fueling activities and support aircraft turnaround operations.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external operational partners.
  • Support compliance with aviation safety regulations, company procedures, and load planning requirements.
  • Deliver a professional service to flight crews and operational stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring

Essential:

  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to make effective decisions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
  • A safety-focused mindset with a strong commitment to compliance and operational procedures.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and operational demands.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience within a Network Control Group environment.
  • Experience in sort, ramp, aviation, or cargo operations.
  • Knowledge of AHS and BRUHUB4 systems.
  • Mass and Balance certification.
  • Advanced ULD certification.
  • Aerologic operational training.
  • Understanding of aircraft load control, weight and balance, and fuel optimisation principles.
  • Experience working within a safety-critical operational environment
