Bilingual Client Service Specialist

We are seeking a Bilingual Client Service Specialist to join our team in Winnipeg, MB, Toronto, ON or Laval, QC.

We are in search of a dynamic individual to actively contribute to the success of People Corporation by providing excellent service and support to our valued clients. The Bilingual Client Service Specialist is responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, investigating complex issues, and handling client escalations. The successful candidate will be reliable, have excellent time management and multi-tasking skills, show initiative, possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, consistently pay attention to detail, and display sound work ethics.

The Bilingual Client Service Specialist will:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and multiple insurance companies

  • Provide day to day management of client requests, claim activities, and the ongoing general administration and maintenance of group client activities

  • Interact with insurance companies, clients, advisors, and plan members to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services

  • Independently manage clients’ enrollments, terminations, amendments, salary and status changes, including data entry into internal systems

  • Provide support to Account Managers, including the set-up of new groups, client service, and administration

  • Maintain security and confidentiality of client information

  • Provide benefit plan administration training for new and existing clients

  • Assist clients with claims and online processing

  • Coordinate timely preparation and delivery of necessary client materials


**To be successful as a Bilingual Client Service Specialist with People

Corporation, you will need:**

  • 2+ years of professional experience in the group benefits industry

  • 2+ years of professional experience working in a client focused environment with a commitment to service excellence

  • Fluency in both French & English (written & verbal) is required

  • Completion of post-secondary education in a relevant field

  • To bring a positive and professional attitude that encourages collaboration and relationship building

  • To demonstrate strong conflict resolution skills, driving timely and effective outcomes

  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • The ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet client and internal needs

The base salary for this position is between $55,000 - $60,000 annually.

This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation (i.e. annual bonus, commission). The actual base salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be able to provide additional details of the total compensation for this role.
