At the TGH Transplant Institute and USF Health, our hepatologists care for a diverse population with complex liver disease, supported by advanced technologies and seamless integration with transplant surgery. Faculty are active in over 70 clinical trials and help train the next generation of GI and transplant providers. Position Highlights

  • Full-scope role in general and transplant hepatology, including pre- and post-transplant care

Advancing Transplantation Through Research

Our hepatology team is actively engaged in clinical trials and translational research in areas such as:

  • NAFLD & NASH: Novel therapeutics and biomarkers for diagnosis, staging, and treatment
  • Cirrhosis & Decompensation: Early intervention strategies and predictors of disease progression
  • Liver Cancer (HCC) : Targeted therapies, surveillance models, and early detection in high-risk populations
  • Transplant Outcomes : Post-transplant liver disease recurrence and quality of life
