Painter Blaster
at UGL Regional Linx
UGL is seeking experienced and safety-conscious Abrasive Blasters and
Industrial Painters to join our team at BP Kwinana.
You will be responsible for the surface preparation and protective coating of
tank internal & external equipment, structures, and components onsite working
with the Tank Turnaround team.
This will be a casual engagement starting ASAP for 38-hour work week with
regular rostered overtime up to 48 hours (Mon-Thurs 10 hrs per Day, Fri 8 hrs
per day).

Key Responsibilities
• Perform abrasive blasting (grit/sand blasting) to clean and prepare metal
surfaces in accordance with industry standards.
• Apply industrial coatings, primers, and protective paints using airless
or conventional spray equipment.
• Read and interpret job specifications and coating system requirements.
• Ensure surface preparation and coating applications meet quality
assurance and safety standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of painted surfaces for quality control.
• Operate and maintain blasting and painting equipment safely and
effectively.
About you
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in industrial abrasive blasting and painting.
• Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in surface preparation
and painting.
• Must have White Card (Construction Induction Card).
• Current Drivers License
• Must have Working at Heights, Confine Space and Gas Test Atmosphere
within the last 2 years
• Ability to pass a VOC
