Job Title : Service Engineer (Electrical)

Location : RD Mine, Rajsamand

Experience : 4 Years at Least

Industry : Its better having work experience on 24V DC circuit.

Objective of the Role

To ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective maintenance operations by achieving full compliance with maintenance processes, maximizing equipment availability through preventive maintenance, effectively utilizing digital maintenance systems (SmartCare & IoT), and fostering a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibility / KRA

KRA 1 - Maintenance Process Compliance & Equipment Reliability

KRA 2 - Digital Maintenance & Asset Management

KRA 3 - Maintenance Quality & Continuous Improvement

KRA 4 - Safety, Environmental Compliance & People Development

Competencies (which are required for performing the above tasks)

  • Should possess sound technical knowledge of troubleshooting and attending breakdowns of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM).
  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude, proactive approach, and solution-oriented mindset while handling maintenance activities.
  • Should be proficient in basic computer applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must have good spoken English and effective negotiation skills to coordinate efficiently with both internal teams and customers.
  • Should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently as well as lead and support a team.
  • Must have a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in HEMM maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment support.

Special Working Conditions : - This position is based in the underground (UG) mining industry and may require deployment at remote project locations. The role involves frequent visits to underground mining areas and requires the ability to work effectively in challenging site conditions while adhering to all applicable safety standards.

Main interactions of the role :- The role requires regular interaction and coordination with the site maintenance team, operations personnel, and the Principal Employer (customer) to ensure effective maintenance planning, timely issue resolution, and smooth operational support.

Education Qualification:

1. A Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution is mandatory.

2. Additional technical certifications related to HEMM maintenance or underground mining operations will be considered an added advantage.
