Position Summary:
AAA, United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Little Rock, Arkansas that shapes the future by designing and building military aircraft, business jets and space systems. We are looking for experienced Cabinet Finishers who are seeking their next opportunity in a complex and ever- changing work environment!
As a Cabinet Finisher , you will work with the finish coating process and perform other duties that support the delivery of aircraft cabinets.
Essential Functions:
- Work from drawings, sketches, pictures, or verbal specifications to stain, finish, and polish cabinets, cabinet parts, and sub-assemblies including inlays, patterns, and special designs.
- Strip finish as needed.
- Prepare surfaces before painting by sanding, steaming, filling, and cleaning.
- Protect all areas by covering with proper materials before painting or stripping.
- Select and mix proper paint to the Manufacturer’s specifications. May be required to experiment with special paints and related products.
- Set up, use spray gun for proper application of urethane, lacquer, enamel, water base, and epoxy paints.
- Touch up woodwork with brush, airbrush, and/or spray gun, blend-in techniques.
- Complete tasks within assigned time limits.
- Log labor data into the computerized collection system for work orders, time and attendance tracking.
- May lead or train other personnel on specific job assignments.
- Work in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA and company safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
