Senior Specialist – Inspection

The purpose of the Inspection Specialist role is to ensure that all licensed marine activities and facilities comply with regulatory standards through systematic inspections and follow-ups. The role supports operational safety, environmental protection, and service quality by identifying non-conformities and recommending corrective actions. It involves planning and executing inspections, analyzing findings, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for continuous improvement. The position also contributes to the enhancement of digital inspection systems and supports regulatory reporting.

Plan and conduct site inspections monthly to evaluate compliance with regulatory and operational standards. Ensure all inspections align with approved weekly, monthly, and annual inspection schedules.

Guide field inspectors by communicating regulatory updates, inspection procedures, and the use of relevant tools. Maintain consistency and ensure quality across all inspection activities.

Review and analyze inspection reports for completeness, accuracy, and trend identification. Present key findings and actionable recommendations to senior management for decision-making.

Update inspection checklists regularly in line with changing regulations and internal requirements. Ensure all updates are reflected in the digital Inspection Management System.

Ensure that inspections adhere to applicable local, national, and
international regulations. Support investigations and validate that corrective actions meet compliance expectations.

Evaluate inspection team performance and identify process improvement opportunities. Coordinate with Tasneef and other partners to assess recurring non-conformities and propose corrective strategies.

Identify training needs and organize workshops or refresher programs to upskill inspection staff. Work closely with the Quality team to enhance inspection procedures and protocols.

Integrate HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards into inspection workflows to reduce operational risks. Review HSE incidents and coordinate with relevant teams for process updates.

Collaborate with digitalization teams to test, implement, and enhance inspection system features. Recommend improvements to optimize scheduling, reporting, and data management processes.

Track and follow up on all corrective actions arising from inspections. Maintain detailed documentation and coordinate with regulatory bodies to ensure ongoing compliance and alignment with evolving requirements.
Educational and Technical Qualifications:| Bachelor’s Degree in Environment,
Health, and Safety or related fields Certification in occupational health and
safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH). Lead AuditorOSHAD/ADOSH Quadrat
certification

Language Skills:| Fluency English- Arabic preferred .
Years of Experience:| A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
Nature of Experience:| In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and
standards.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent
communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently
and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Strong ethical standards and the
ability to maintain confidentiality.
