Animal Emergency & Specialty Center (AESC) is seeking a dedicated ICU Veterinary Assistant to join our overnight team. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in critical care while working alongside experienced veterinary professionals.

📍 Friday, Saturday & Sunday
🕖 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Animal Emergency & Specialty Center is the trusted 24-hour partner to neighborhood veterinarians, providing advanced emergency and specialty care when primary care clinics are closed. Our team is equipped with cutting-edge technology and specialized expertise to deliver exceptional patient care around the clock.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Assist ICU Technicians with the care of hospitalized patients
- Safely restrain patients for treatments and procedures
- Monitor patient comfort, cleanliness, and overall well-being
- Fill non-controlled medication prescriptions as directed
- Document patient status and client communications using hospital software
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stocking throughout the ICU
- Work independently and collaboratively to support high-quality patient care

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Desire to learn and grow in veterinary medicine
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Animal handling experience is a plus
