Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)

As an LVT, you’ll have the opportunity to fully utilize your technical skills while working alongside a supportive team dedicated to outstanding patient care and professional growth.

Here is What Your day May Consist of:

• Intravenous catheter placement and venipuncture
• Administer drugs (IV, SQ, Oral)
• Assists with radiographic procedures
• Perform diagnostic blood, urine, and fecal testing
• Provide care to hospitalized patients
• Manage invoicing of patients
• Client communication and education
• Admitting and discharging patients

Here is What You Will Bring to the Position:

• Completion of a two-year or four-year American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) accredited program from a community college, college, or university
• License certification varies by state
• Externship experience
