Part-Time Canine Rehabilitation Veterinarian

at Pearland Pet Health Center

At Stoney Creek Animal Hospital, we believe recovery is more than rest — it’s movement, confidence, and quality of life restored. We’re looking for a part-time veterinarian with a passion for canine rehabilitation to help us expand and elevate our rehab services in a meaningful way.

This is not a “plug into a schedule and go” role. This is an opportunity to shape, grow, and truly own the rehab experience within a collaborative, progressive hospital that boasts two Certified Cane Rehabilitation Assistants.

Why This Role is Different

You won’t be working in isolation. Our rehab veterinarian partners closely with our medical team on:

  • Post-operative orthopedic recovery
  • Neurologic rehabilitation cases
  • Chronic pain management plans
  • Mobility consults for aging canine patients
  • Weight management and long-term mobility strategies

And you’ll be supported by a brand-new $50,000 underwater treadmill designed to elevate our rehabilitation services and expand what’s possible for our patients.

What You’ll Find at Stoney Creek:

  • A collaborative, supportive DVM team that values integrative approaches
  • Advanced diagnostics including digital radiography and in-house lab capabilities
  • Laser therapy and advanced pain management
  • A hospital culture that encourages case discussion and cross-training
  • Leadership that supports program growth and continued education

If you have experience or certification in canine rehabilitation (CCRP, CCRT, or similar) — wonderful. If you’re actively pursuing it and excited to build something meaningful — we want to talk to you.

Who You Are:

  • Passionate about mobility medicine and long-term quality of life
  • Comfortable designing individualized rehab protocols
  • A strong communicator who enjoys educating pet owners
  • Excited about building and growing a rehab caseload
  • Interested in part-time hours with flexibility

Benefits

  • Generous Compensation
  • Flexible schedules
  • An annual CE allowance
  • Reimbursement for license fees — state, controlled substance where applicable, and DEA certificate — as well as AVMA membership dues
  • Our 401(k) retirement savings program with the inclusion of the company match contribution
  • Employee discounting on veterinary services for your pets
  • Family Support or Culture Boost package options — A bundle of benefits that provides access to resources like Teledoc, Kindly Human, discount programs for prescriptions, diabetic supplies, a la carte dental services, etc., as well as a broad network gym membership
  • Our employee assistance programs, including things such as our enterprise subscription with Rocket Lawyer and Calm Health
