Job Summary:

At Hagerstown Nursing and Rehab, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for providing routine technical support in the environmental service of residents to ensure the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform routine technical support and maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance rounds, log and date all equipment checks and tests, and perform routine repairs and replacements as needed

• Perform all cosmetic repairs and perform outdoor maintenance tasks as needed

• Attend and participate in scheduled training, education classes, and orientation programs to maintain and enhance quality of care

• Maintain and work within established departmental, center, and corporate policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement program, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards

• Perform other related activities as assigned or requested by management

Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent

• 1-2 years of related experience
