The Iowa Veterans Home is accepting applications for a full time Maintenance Repairer. Hours for this position are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Also, will be ‘on call’ for the general maintenance shop on a rotating basis. The responsibilities of this position include but not limited to: - Performs regular scheduled preventative maintenance on air handling equipment. Includes inspection and repair of motors, valves, coils and controls. - Performs regular scheduled preventative maintenance on closed loop hydronic systems, both heated and chilled.
